ACTS Housing
Milwaukee, Wisconsin
FVM served as Owner’s Representative for ACTS Housing’s building envelope improvements at their recently acquired office facility on Milwaukee’s near west-side. The building is a three-level cream city masonry structure built in the early 1900’s as a clergy residence and convent for St. Michael’s Parish. The building was converted to multi-tenant office use and serves as ACTS Housing’s base of operations for its client consultations and general business needs. As a non-profit organization and in response to a multi-year capital pledge campaign to perform upgrades to the facility, FVM worked with ACTS Housing and Uihlein-Wilson-Ramlow-Stein Architects to develop a solution that targeted critical building infrastructure improvements including a full roof replacement and extensive tuck pointing of the masonry façade and dormer elements. FVM managed all project budgeting, procurement, contracts, construction administration, QA/QC inspections, change orders and payment application review/processing for this project.
